67 students constructed 26 Rube Goldberg projects in teams from 1 to 4.
Tech Day is a Maker Faire style event that also included a trebuchet, robots, a coding school, air rockets, and 3D coloring.
425 students submitted 324 Life, Physical and STEAM Science Projects, plus approximately 150 students participated in 8 class projects. This is over 15% more projects than 2016.
455 students visited the science fair Wednesday and Thursday to view the projects!
Total awards are about $4,000 in prizes this year! We have been able to continue funding the increase from last year. This does not include participation rewards provided by Costeaux Bakery to every student.
Over $7,000 was donated by local individuals and organizations to provide cash awards and prizes
4 teams of two judges returned Wednesday to interview all the first place winners to determine Best of Group and Best of Show winners, which will be announced tonight!
Unfortunately, the 2020 Science Fair has been cancelled.
