2018 Science Fair Details

  • 72 students constructed 31 Rube Goldberg projects in teams from 1 to 4.
  • Tech Day is a Maker Faire style, hands-on event that included building paper circuits, programming robots, a coding school, air rockets, and 3D printing & 3D pens.
  • 319 students submitted 255 Life, Physical and STEAM Science Projects.
  • 475 students visited the science fair Wednesday and Thursday to view the projects!
  • Total awards are about $4,500 in prizes this year! This does not include participation rewards provided by Costeaux Bakery to every student.
  • Over $8,000 was donated by local individuals and organizations to provide cash awards, rent the venue and cover other operating expenses.
  • 3 teams of two judges returned Wednesday to interview all the first place winners to determine Best of Group and Best of Show winners.
