Tech Day Judging Coordinator

Time Estimate

• 15 - 20 Hours a year

Overall Responsibility

• Manage the judging for the competitive tech day event(s) 

Support Required

• Judges, often high school AP physics students
• Close coordination with tech day coordinator

Tasks

• Work with event leaders to determine what events we will have
  • Determine event task(s) (Rube, catapult, egg drop, etc.)
  • Determine rules for judging
  • Distribute rules to Communications for distribution
• Confirm Facilities Coordinator has secured use of the HJH
• Help judges with scoring rubrics and judging procedures
• Monitor judges while they determine all winners including any ‘Best of Group’, ‘Best of Show’
• Document winners and supply them to Awards Ceremony Coordinator.
